Tampa Bay is located on the west central coast of Florida. It includes Old Tampa Bay, Hillsborough Bay, McKay Bay, and New Tampa Bay. The entire ‘Tampa Bay Area‘ encompasses three counties: Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas. More than 2 million residents live in the Tampa Bay AreaTampa is the largest city in the Tampa Bay Area. 

Today, Tampa is part of the metropolitan area most commonly referred to as the “Tampa Bay Area”. Tampa is best known for its tourist attractions, especially Busch Gardens, where families get the thrill of an amusement park and the fun of a zoo all in one place. The cost of living here  is 5% lower than the national average. The cost of living in any area can vary based on factors such as your career, its average salary and the real estate market of that area.
